Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our team at The Children's Hospital, which is a regional tertiary center located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Saint Peter's University Hospital operates the Dorothy B. Hersh Child Protection Center (CPC), a state-designated facility that serves eight counties in central New Jersey. Opportunity Highlights Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, psychologists, and social workers Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed medical and psychological assessments for suspected physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as medical neglect Present on recognizing and responding to abuse for medical residents, law enforcement, school personnel, and DYFS social workers Provide forensic evidence documentation, case consultation to prosecutors, and serve as an expert or fact witness in court testimonies and depositions Supportive leadership and administration: allowing for transparency and the open exchange of ideas Over 40 days paid time off per year and a generous 5% match in your retirement Comprehensive health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage as well as family caregiving support and child backup care Community Highlights Thriving area that has experienced a dramatic transformation in the past few decades.
