Clinical Responsibilities The physician will manage pediatric patients across several units, focusing on stabilization and daily rounding. Newborn Nursery: Average of 5 babies per weekend. Inpatient Unit: Small volume (approx. 1 2 patients). Daily morning rounds are required on Saturday and Sunday. ER Coverage: 2 3 calls per day, often manageable via phone. Procedures: Must be proficient in neonatal intubation and line placement.
