Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity Southeastern Indiana Employed practice seeks a BE/BC Pediatric Hospitalist to join their team Competitive salary to be discussed directly with employer 7on/7off 12 hour shifts Level I and II nursery with 1,300 deliveries on average per year Pediatric Unit 1-3 patient average (4-6 average during busy season) 17 bed Birthing Center supported by nurses that are cross-trained to provide labor/delivery, Duties will include Emergency Room consults along with rounding on pediatric inpatients, nursery and newborns Required procedures: neonatal resuscitation, intubation, lumbar puncture, circumcision (on-site training), Emergency needle Thoracentesis, umbilical lines, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, IV fluids, tube feedings and antibiotics EMR: EPIC Favorable malpractice state 97% staff retention Robust benefit package Experienced and new grads are encouraged to apply 45 minutes to Indianapolis, 1 hour to Louisville, KY and 1.5 hours to Cincinnati, OH Indianapolis as an International airport No visa sponsorship available
