Serve a diverse patient population spanning across multiple states and regions within a 10-bed pediatric unit 24-hour coverage , out-of-house shift model Cater to a high-risk and complex patient population , covering a large catchment area Care for medical patients on the pediatric unit , consulting on pediatric patients in the emergency department , consulting on surgical patients, and caring for newborn infants who do not require NICU-level care Top 100 Hospital in US named by Premier, Inc. Only hospital in Idaho designated as "Expert" for Pediatric Care Readiness (Idaho Emergency Medical Services for Children, 2024) Collaborate with sister Primary Children's Hospital (Salt Lake City) for transfer outs and highly acute cases Established Support Network 5 physician staff include both pediatric intensivists and neonatologists Additional pediatric sub-specialists representing pediatric neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, surgery, and anesthesia.
