Opportunity Highlights Schedule: 24-Hour Beeper Call (6am-6am); specific dates of need include: 10/15-10/19, 10/30-11/02, 11/20-11/22, 12/04-12/07, 12/10-12/14, 12/17-12/20, and 12/31; ongoing need starting 11/1/2026 Job Setting: Inpatient; EMR: Epic Types of Cases: Approximately 80% NICU and 20% Pediatrics. NICU patients down to 32 weeks, newborn resuscitations, and management of 32-week preemies and up. Provider should be a pediatric hospitalist with neonatology experience or a neonatologist comfortable seeing pediatrics. Required Skills: Neonatal airway management including intubation Management of neonatal air leak/pneumothorax including needle decompression Emergent UVC placement (delivery room) UVC/UAC placement Lumbar puncture EKG interpretation Central line placement (neonates) Preferred Skills: Ventilator management (acute and chronic, newborn and pediatric) Chest tube insertion (neonates) Arterial lines X-ray interpretation Nursery Level II/III NICU ECMO Hemodialysis catheter placement Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days. Temporary privileges available. Facility requires a clean file - providers with large settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges. Required documentation: RFA, CV, 24 months of relevant activity, completed application, and references available to respond immediately.
