About the Clinician's WorkdayThe pediatric hospitalist will provide day shift and call coverage on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery, supporting approximately 2,400 annual deliveries on an on-site basis in Virginia. The clinician will manage a pediatric floor average daily census of 5 patients and a newborn nursery average daily census of 15 patients. Call coverage is required, with the clinician available from home or hotel following completion of daily rounding. Board certification in Pediatrics is required for this locum tenens assignment.
