This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. The Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the VA Boston Healthcare System(VABHCS) is seeking a full-time academic Head and Neck Surgeon/Otolaryngologist with specialty training in head and neck surgical oncology and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including microvascular free tissue transfer. Expertise in DaVinci robotic transoral surgery of the pharynx is required. Experience in facial trauma repair and post-Mohs reconstruction is advantageous. The incumbent will also practice the full spectrum of ENT including rhinology, laryngology, and basic otology. Major Duties: - Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients across Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. - Perform complex head and neck oncologic, reconstructive, and microvascular procedures, including robotic transoral surgery. - Provide clinical care in rhinology, laryngology, and otology, and take part in call coverage. - Participate in teaching, supervision, and academic activities including research and publication. - Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary Veteran-centered care teams.
