Procedures/Services: Otolaryngology services include but are not limited to: Chronic cough, ear surgery, ear tube surgery, facial plastics & reconstruction with free flaps, head and neck cancer, hearing loss, hoarseness, mouth lesions and tumors, pediatric ENT services, salivary stones, sinus surgery, tracheostomy, tracheal surgery of granulation tissue, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, reflux. In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.
