Questions to ask the employer
- Is $425,000 base salary only, or expected total compensation including bonus and productivity?
- The posted pay sits below what 110 Orthopedic Surgery physicians report (national median $772,500) — what closes that gap: productivity upside, bonus, equity, or schedule?
- How is the productivity component calculated (wRVU rate, threshold, reconciliation cadence), and what did physicians here actually earn from it last year?
- How many weeks of PTO and CME time are included, and is unused time paid out?
