Position Highlights Team Composition : 8 surgeons 2 Hand, 2 Total Joint, 2 Sports, 1 Trauma), 1 Non-op Sports Collaborative Model : Work closely with 6 experienced Physician Assistants Surgical Focus : Elective Shoulder/ Elbow/ Hand Surgery Practice. Procedures can be done in Main OR surgical suite vs. Procedure time in the clinic for appropriate cases. OR Time : 3-4 days per month + additional Elective Procedure time in the office. Call Schedule : ~3-4 days per month (Community level trauma) Practice Environment Supportive Infrastructure : Large support teams for surgical coordination including Medical Assistants, Surgical Schedulers, Hand Therapists, Surgical assistants, and clinic support staff capable of assisting in office-based procedures. Educational and Leadership Opportunities: Rotation Site for medical students from California Health Sciences University.
