Full description

Build a Career. Join a Legacy. Practice with Autonomy.

Lanzi Burke Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is seeking a full-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our established, highly respected 100% private practice in Southern New Jersey.

For more than four decades, our practice has been a trusted name in oral and maxillofacial surgery throughout South Jersey. With three convenient office locations in Haddonfield, Woolwich Township, and Washington Township, four current surgeons, and a referral network of more than 300 dentists, this is an opportunity to step into a busy, well-supported practice with strong surgical volume from day one.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time, four-day-per-week associate position with an early pathway to partnership. Partnership discussions may begin after six months of the initial associateship for the right surgeon, based on performance, fit, and long-term alignment with the practice.

We are looking for a motivated, personable, clinically excellent surgeon who wants to build a long-term professional home in a thriving private practice. This job is the beginning of a career of ownership not a corporate production role. The right candidate will have clinical autonomy, strong mentorship and collaboration, excellent case flow, and the opportunity to help shape the future of a respected surgeon-led practice.

The Practice

Lanzi Burke Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons offers a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. The practice has historically treated complex cases involving the maxillofacial region, including sleep apnea surgery, orthognathic surgery, craniofacial implants, cleft palate surgery, trauma and other more complex procedures however dentoalveolar with an emphasis on dental implants including full-arch cases predominate.

The practice is built to support a productive surgeon. We offer:

  • Three established Southern New Jersey locations: Haddonfield, Woolwich Township, and Washington Township

  • More than 300 referring dentists sending significant work.

  • Four-day work week

  • Call limited to practice patients only, no hospital trauma call unless desired

  • Registered nurses and nurse practitioners for anesthesia and mid-level support

  • Full benefits with no contribution

  • Full-scope OMS available if desired, but not required

  • The latest technology including photogrammetry and X-Guide assistance for full-arch cases

Our clinical support model, experienced team, and modern infrastructure allow surgeons to focus on excellent patient care, safe anesthesia, strong referral relationships, and efficient surgical workflow. An important question for those other jobs out there is what is their collection percentage and do they have an in-house billing team that fights for reimbursement? Our bonus threshold is attainable due to our excellent, experienced billing infrastructure.

Compensation & Partnership

This is a highly competitive opportunity with significant long-term upside.

Compensation includes:

  • $525,000 starting salary

  • Bonus potential to $1,200,000-$1,500,000 first year

  • Full benefits include OMSNIC malpractice

  • Early partnership discussion after six months

  • Strong private-practice earning potential

  • High-volume referral base and established case flow

This is a real opportunity to build equity and long-term financial success in a private-practice environment while maintaining clinical autonomy and quality of life.

The Candidate

Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and eligible for licensure in New Jersey.

The ideal candidate is clinically thoughtful, ethical, personable, and patient-centered. We are looking for someone who communicates well with patients, families, referring doctors, and team members; values collaboration; and wants to become part of a respected Southern New Jersey practice for the long term.

New graduates, current residents, fellows, and experienced surgeons are all encouraged to apply. This is the perfect position if you've made the mistake of being a corporate surgeon.

Why Southern New Jersey?

Southern New Jersey offers an exceptional quality of life with easy access to Philadelphia, the Jersey Shore, excellent suburban communities, strong schools, and a lower cost of living than many major metropolitan markets. It is an ideal place to build a high-level surgical career while enjoying space, community, and lifestyle flexibility.

The Application

Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a CV and brief letter of interest. All inquiries will be kept confidential.
