Provide care for any unassigned patients who present to L&D, or, if requested, in consultation with the ED
Provide triage for patients presenting to OB ED services.
Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and other services for patients of the attending Obstetrical providers in coordination with the patient's Obstetrical Providers, or in an emergency situation.
Serve as a surgical assistant for the attending Obstetrical providers.
Be available to support the Certified Nurse Midwives and Advanced Practice Providers.
Qualifications
MD or DO required
Board Certified or Board Eligible " ABOG
3"5 years post-residency clinical experience or OB/GYN fellowship training preferred
High proficiency managing high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric emergencies
High proficiency in operative vaginal deliveries and complex Cesarean sections
