Catholic Health (CH) is currently recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join our growing Women’s Health Service Line. This position is located at our outpatient location in West Islip within several miles of Good Samaritan University Hospital. CH is an integrated health care system serving the communities of Long Island, New York. The System is comprised of six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional Home Care and Hospice service, and a multiservice, community-based agency for developmentally disabled individuals. For the past few years, CH has been investing in the Women’s Health Service Line to develop a system-wide integrated program with specialties that include OB/GYN, Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. These OB/GYNs will support 4,700 deliveries annually. Clinical responsibilities will include comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic issues including outpatient assessment, inpatient care and major operative procedures. Share the after-hours and weekend on-call coverage Participate in clinical trials Conduct quality initiatives based on performance data Qualifications NYS Licensed MD or DO Board Certified / Board Eligible Strong clinical background in evaluation and management Strong Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of patient safety and participate in performance improvement This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, training, skills, licensure and certification, competencies, and other relevant experience.
