With no two patients or days alike, you'll collaborate to provide out-of-the-box, patient-focused strategies. Here are a few of the responsibilities you can expect: Provide obstetrical care and treatment -including preconception, pregnancy itself, labor and delivery, and routine antepartum follow-up. High risk pregnancy management. General gynecology services- including Pap testing, birth control, clinical breast exams, emergency, and routine care. Perform complex gynecological and robotic procedures for cancer and non-cancerous problems. Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions such as Premenstrual syndrome and menopausal symptoms. Infertility treatment. Sexual dysfunction. Pelvic rehabilitation. Hormonal problems. Urinary tract infections. Sexually transmitted infections/disease. Qualifications What you'll need as an OBGYN. Graduate from an accredited Medical School.
