Hours of Work 7a-5p Days Of Week M-F Work Shift 8X5 Day (United States of America) Job Description Methodist Health System is currently seeking a Generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join the teaching faculty practice of its Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program. This private, hospital-based program is located on the campus of Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a 515-bed teaching and referral center located near downtown Dallas. This program graduates three physicians per year with a staff of three full-time generalist faculty, including the Program Director, as well as five part-time sub specialty faculty. The program offers a broad base of experience in general and complicated obstetrics, operative gynecology, ambulatory care, and subspecialty services. Methodist Health System offers top-notch facilities providing the latest in patient care, from laparoscopic tools to interventional radiology to imaging services 24 hours a day. Your Job Requirements Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible or Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Experience and comfort with managing and treating the broad range of general obstetric and gynecologic conditions. Experience with minimally invasive surgery is expected and vaginal surgery experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
