We are seeking an OB/GYN physician to join our growing hospital based, full service practice. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering the highest quality care that meets all medical standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will provide Inpatient and Outpatient care, cover Labor and Birth, provide Surgical Care, Supervise midwives, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
The OB/GYN is a full-service department. In addition to our 16 attending staff, we have a Maternal Fetal Medicine, a fellowship trained Family Planning Specialists, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility staff. The preferred candidate will have a commitment to teaching and academic excellence. We offer state of the art Obstetrics Ultrasound and Antepartum Testing Unit and, a Da Vinci robot available for training. Woodhull has a pioneered midwife-attending collaborative that has demonstrated successful in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. NYC Health Hospitals is currently implementing this model at its other facilities.
We offer a competitive compensation package and a stimulating work environment, which includes the following as outlined below:
$435,000-$481,000 base salary with total compensation, including bonuses, ranging from $466,000-$511,000
403B/457 participation inclusive of a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement ranging from $3,000-$3,500 inclusive of one week of paid CME time
Call Schedule & Compensation: Full-time Attending Physicians in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology will are required to work three (3) 15-hour overnight in-house calls (Monday-Friday) and one (1) 24-hour weekend in-house call (Saturday or Sunday) per month, averaging a 47-hour work week, with additional call coverage compensated through supplemental pay
Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 contingent upon meeting required productivity and compliance metrics
