From managing complex obstetric situations to supporting community physicians and advancing team-based care, you'll help shape exceptional experiences for mothers, babies, and families throughout Minnesota. Our OB/GYN Hospitalist provide in-house obstetrical coverage of the labor and delivery unit, antepartum and postpartum units, and triage areas.

  • Manage a diverse patient population ranging from routine obstetrics to medically and surgically complex maternal cases, including urgent operative deliveries.

  • Utilize Epic (Excellian) within a flexible hospitalist model offering shared day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved medical program

  • Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in OB/GYN

Job Requirements

  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)

  • Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below:
    ◦ Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
    ◦ Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
    ◦ Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN upon hire required

  • Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required

  • Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required

  • National Provider Identifier upon hire required
