Position Details Join a well-established, supportive team of physicians and advanced providers at a large academic tertiary center Medical co-management with multiple surgical services including PVS, CVS, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, etc. Full-time, Nights (7 on/14 off, 7pm-7am) Closed ICU Collaborate with other attending physicians and consultants Perform or supervise the performance of patient care services to include: history and physical examination, diagnosis, daily patient evaluation, daily progress notes, discharge evaluation, discharge summaries, and medically manage and treat adolescent and adult patients Perform or supervise seeing new business/admissions Take transfer center calls to accept referred patients from outside hospitals or outside patients. The position is dually employed by IU Health Physicians and IU School of Medicine with a comprehensive benefit package. IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals. Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds. IU School of Medicine is also constructing a medical education and research building directly east of the new hospital.
