Position Details 3 provider group 6 Advanced Practice Providers 5 APPs participate in call rotation & typically take first call Employed position 40% outpatient and 60% operating room / inpatient mix Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University medical students Collegial and supportive practice environment Target patient load average of 20-30 patients per day in clinic, two days per week 10-20 surgical cases per week One clinic per week at an outreach location Call 1:3 Level II Trauma Center Outpatient office embedded in the hospital EMR and software assisted triage system to improve surgical yield Staffed with 1 RN, 1 LPN, 7 C/MAs & 7 clerical Outreach clinic locations in Escanaba, Ishpeming, Hancock, Iron Mountain, Manistique, Newberry Comprehensive brain and spine center inclusive of Neurology, Physiatry, Interventional Pain, Neurophysiology & Neuro/Health Psychology.
