Indiana University Health Medical Group Department of Neurological Surgery, in partnership
with Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a
Functional/Stereotactical Neurosurgeon to join our academic divisionin
Indianapolis, Indiana.This Faculty position requires expertise in epilepsy surgery, depth electrodes, intrathecal pumps, and spinal cord stimulators and complex peripheral nerve.
Position Details: - Primary duties include participation in and expansion of established comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic neurological surgery
- Additional duties include direct clinical care and teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students
- Participate in the clinical operations of a multidisciplinary comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic Center; engaging in academic pursuits, performing clinical research, and securing future funding
Schedule: - Call rotation with adult Neurosurgeons (generally 4-5 days per month)
- Outpatient clinic coverage at Goodman Hall, IU Health Methodist Hospital and the Indianapolis VA Hospital
Qualifications: - American Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Faculty appointment is commensurate with experience
