AHN Department of Neurosurgery and Neurology currently staffs over 25 neurosurgeons, 35 neurologists, 15 Pain Medicine physicians and 80 advanced practice providers who specialize in a myriad of neurosurgical disorders, including brain, spine and skull-based surgery, stroke, movement disorders, cranial nerve disorders, neuro-oncology, epilepsy, headache, neuromuscular disorders, dementia, and concussions to name a few. The Institute a provides quaternary care services at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) in Pittsburgh PA, that includes a level 1 trauma center. There is also a level 2 trauma center located at Forbes Regional Hospital (FRH), located in Monroeville, Pa. There are residency programs in Neurology and Neurosurgery along with several fellowships. The spine program offers a complete array of spinal procedures from endoscopic spine to complex deformity spine and everything in between. AHN's Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery is housed in our new 'hub' at our flagship, Allegheny General Hospital.
