Pediatric Nephrology Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit (if applicable to setting), evaluate diagnose and provide treatment or consultative services to infants, children, adolescents and young adults presenting with illnesses and disorders of the kidneys. These kidney disorders could include congenital anomalies, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, fluid and electrolyte abnormalities, and end-stage renal disease, urinary tract infections, voiding dysfunctions, nephrolithiasis, renal transplant, acute and chronic glomerular diseases, genetic syndromes, tubular disorders and cystic diseases.Qualifications
