Position Highlights - Full-time general nephrology opportunity replacing an existing physician
- Balanced mix of:
- CKD management
- Dialysis care (including growing home dialysis program)
- Hospital rounding
- Hospital service every other week with a consistently low census (4-8 patients average)
- Dialysis responsibilities average only 2-3 days per month
- Coordinated clinic schedule allowing focused inpatient coverage during hospital weeks
- Collaborative small-practice environment with 2 physicians and 2 experienced NPs
Hospital Coverage & Call - Coverage at:
- Ogden Regional Medical Center
- McKay Dee Hospital
- Hospital call every other week
- Infrequent night call supporting long-term schedule sustainability
Advanced Practice & Care Support - Two experienced nurse practitioners supporting dialysis and CKD care
- Dedicated renal care coordinators for standard and value-based care patients
- Strong ancillary support including dialysis social workers and dietitians
- Emphasis on coordinated care, transplant referral, and optimal dialysis starts
