White Plains Hospital, a 292-bed, award-winning facility located in the heart of Westchester, NY, is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians to join its expanding Hospitalist Program. Opportunity Highlights

• Hospital-employed position with a competitive salary range: $320,000 - $380,000 (based on experience and excluding quality and productivity incentives)
• Days-only shifts (No swing or night shifts)
• Closed ICU (No ICU coverage required)
• Optional procedures depending on your interest and experience
• Annual Clinical Hours: 1,816

Job Responsibilities

As a Hospitalist, you will

• Oversee the inpatient care of hospitalized patients at White Plains Hospital.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and optimize clinical outcomes.
• Promote effective communication with patients, families, consulting physicians, and hospital staff.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality care, adhering to clinical pathways, protocols, and regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS, DOH, etc.).
• Participate in efforts to reduce average patient length of stay while maintaining the quality of care.
• Respond to urgent and emergent patient matters as needed within the hospital.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with Residency in Internal Medicine
• Valid New York State Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Current BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements (hospital, regional, state, and federal)
