The package
This inpatient-only Hospitalist position follows a 7-on/7-off schedule with EPIC/Dragon as the EMR/dictation tools, and requires proficiency in a broad range of critical care and procedural skills including intubation, central line insertion, chest tube, and ventilator management. Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible, ACLS certified, have at least 1 year of experience with respiratory/critical care background, and hold an active Michigan or IMLC license.

Ventilator Management including Assessing Readiness for and Administering Respiratory Weaning/Oxygen Therapy and Extubation. Assessing need for Intubation
Chest Tube Insertion
Insertion of PICC Lines, Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines either percutaneously or by cut down
Arterial Line Insertion and Removal (radial and femoral)
Tracheostomy Care including Tube Change
Management of Tension pneumothorax in Emergent Situation
External pacing including adjusting temporary epicardial, transvenous, or transcutaneous pacemaker as necessary
Clinical support available
Requirements :
Minimum 1 year of experience
Must be proctored 5 per each procedure
Must be Respiratory/Critical Care experienced with procedures
Board Certified or Board Eligible
ACLS
Case Logs: 50 inpatient logs within the last 12 months
Active MI License or IMLC
