Quick Facts Location: Waverly, IA Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date/Duration: Open / Ongoing assignments Shift: Typical hospital coverage shifts (schedule TBD) Hours/Week: Flexible based on assignment needs Employment Type: Locum / Per diem License/Certifications: Active medical license required; Board Eligible accepted Experience: Prior obstetrics experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $195.00 per hour Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with federal, state, and local laws 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success What You ll Do Provide OB hospitalist coverage including deliveries and patient management Assist with OB triage and unassigned gynecological emergencies Manage deliveries and routine obstetric procedures as assigned Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care Support NICU Level 1 cases as needed Cover GYN emergencies and routine obstetric assessments Maintain documentation and follow hospital protocols What You Need Valid medical license in the state of Iowa Board eligibility or certification in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience Prior experience in obstetric hospitalist practice preferred Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology Excellent communication and teamwork abilities About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a leading hospital in Waverly, Iowa, delivering around 200 babies annually.
