JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician - Hospitalist/Nocturnist Job Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Hospitalist Coverage Period: October 18, 2026 - Ongoing Work Week: Saturday - Friday Reason for Coverage: Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Must be comfortable performing the procedures selected on the Delineation of Privileges form Flu vaccination must be from the current year Proof of completed Continuing Medical Education for the previous two years or a completed Continuing Medical Education attestation form is required Virginia medical license, board certification, active Virginia DEA, and CSR, if required, must be in hand at presentation COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Intubation Must provide proof of five successful intubation cases completed within the last two years JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Residency: Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency License: Active, unrestricted Virginia medical license Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine DEA: Active DEA with a Virginia address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 CSR: Active CSR if required Certification: ACLS required Experience: Minimum of two years of current clinical experience Case Logs: Two years of current clinical experience must be documented through case logs
