Locum Hospitalist -ongoing need - Toledo, OH ( 2 Hospitalists needed) Start Date: March 10 (site will issue emergency privileges) End Date: Ongoing NO CALL Reason for need: Vacancy - Long-Term Permanent Search Setting: Inpatient Requirement: BE/BC, active OH license EMR: Cerner Description: Our client is in need of two hospitalists to work 7am to 7pm shift. The schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off rotating weeks. This is an ASAP start position with a start date of 3/10/2022 and the site will issue emergent privileges. Ideally, this position will be filled with two hospitalists that can rotate weeks, but multiple candidates who have 1 week of availability a month ongoing will be considered. The hospitalist will be rounding on an average of 20-30 patients per day. There could also be up to 25 admissions a day. The site has two NP's that will cover most of the admissions. The hospitalist will need to be able to run codes and if they are comfortable they can do arterial lines. Basically, if the hospitalist wants to do procedures to keep their skill sets up they can, or if they are not comfortable there are service lines such as the critical care group that is there to assist. Procedures are not required. The client is also interested in locum to permanent placement candidates, but will consider physicians as well who are interested in filling in on an ongoing basis.
