Provide medical direction and attend to patients at local skilled nursing facilities in Hudson, OH on a part-time basis. Partner with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care and provide clinical oversight at assigned facilities. Key responsibilities Admit, evaluate, and manage post-acute and long-term care patients. Provide clinical leadership and oversight for NP/PAs caring for assigned patients. Coordinate care plans, order and interpret tests, and adjust treatment as appropriate. Document visits and communicate effectively with facility staff, families, and consultants. Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities as needed. Schedule and workload Part-time; physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week. No overnight shifts and no call responsibilities. No fixed daily start/end times. Average 18-25 visits per day. Company-provided iPad with LTE for documentation.
