Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Inpatient Start Date: ASAP (standard credentialing 90 days) Schedule: 9-hour day shifts onsite from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; 15-hour night shifts from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM onsite, then telestroke Patient Population: Neurological Location: Springfield, OR Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient neurological care including rounding and admissions Work daytime shifts collaboratively with an NP/PA Conduct solo night shifts as a telestroke provider, returning onsite for stroke alerts when needed Ensure high-quality patient outcomes in every interaction Qualifications Valid MD/DO license BLS and ACLS certifications required Recent clinical experience in a relevant field, reflected by logs of patient care or completion of a hospital-affiliated program Proficient with EPIC EMR system Working Hours 9-hour shifts, days from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM 15-hour shifts, nights from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM onsite, transitioning to telestroke Skills Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with staff and patient interactions
