Position Description: Medical ICU Hospitalist (Nocturnist)Greenwood, SCFull timeSchedule: 7 nights on / 7 nights off Monday night through Sunday night 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMPosition Details: 30-bed ICU, with many beds co-managed by other service lines (e.g., teaching service, surgery, etc.), so you are not always first call Dedicated hospitalist coverage for all floor calls You are not the code team-residents respond to rapid responses and code blues; you would respond to ICU codes only Typical admissions: 4-6 per night, per physician (shared 1:1 with the other nocturnist on call) From 7 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Thursday, additional hospitalist support is available to assist with admissionsProcedural Skills Preferred: Intubations / airway management Central line placement Ventilator management Pressor use Arterial lines (preferred, not required)Qualifications: MD/DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Critical Care specialties Minimum of 1+ year experience in ICU care required for Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians Intensivist training backgrounds considered, including: Anesthesia Critical Care Pulmonary/Critical Care Emergency Medicine Critical Care
