Nocturnist Opportunity Sierra Vista, Arizona Join an established hospitalist program in Sierra Vista, Arizona, as a full-time nocturnist. This position is ideal for an internal medicine physician who enjoys working independently overnight while remaining connected to a collaborative, well-supported team. A Strong, Collaborative Team Join an experienced team of eight hospitalist physicians. Receive additional support from a clinical performance nurse, clinical performance associate, and group coordinator. Work with a diverse group of physicians who have built strong relationships with hospital leadership and other medical staff. Practice in an academic environment with an internal medicine residency program. Teaching opportunities are available for physicians interested in working with residents. Schedule Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Seven nights on followed by seven nights off. Clinical Responsibilities Average of approximately 10 admissions per night with resident support. Approximately 60 overnight floor calls. Participate as a member of the rapid response team. Perform intubations, central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ventilator management. Cerner electronic medical record system. Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine. Comfortable managing an overnight schedule and providing high-quality care during nighttime hours. Licensing and credentialing assistance is provided. Compensation and Benefits Nocturnist shift rate of $2,100. Base compensation of $383,250 annually. Additional RVU and quality bonus opportunities. $50,000 sign-on bonus.
