Opportunity Highlights Location: Redwood City, California Practice Setting: Hospital-based OB-GYN Hospitalist Program Coverage Begins: November 1, 2026 Ongoing Opportunity: Yes Schedule: 24-hour, in-house hospitalist shifts Team: Five OB-GYN Hospitalists working in a collaborative care model Hospital Volume: Approximately 1,200 deliveries annually Clinical Responsibilities Labor and delivery management OB and GYN triage Obstetric and gynecologic emergency care Inpatient OB/GYN consultations Gynecologic surgical procedures performed within the hospital setting Qualifications Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active California medical license and DEA registration Minimum of one year of post-training clinical experience (five or more years preferred) Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, and inpatient gynecologic care Clean malpractice and licensure history required This assignment offers the rare chance to help shape a new hospitalist program while enjoying all that the San Francisco Peninsula has to offer, including outstanding dining, outdoor recreation, and convenient access to both Silicon Valley and San Francisco.
