Full description
Provide medical direction and attend to post-acute and long-term care patients across local skilled nursing facilities in Owen, WI. This part-time role partners with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care and clinical oversight within assigned facilities. Schedule and workload Part-time: physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week No fixed start/end times, no call, no overnight shifts 18-25 patient visits per day Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance Key responsibilities Serve as attending physician and medical director at assigned skilled nursing facilities Collaborate with NPs/PAs and facility staff to manage clinical care and transitions Provide clinical leadership, oversight, and decision-making for patient care Document care using company-provided iPad with LTE Qualifications MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure encouraged to apply Compensation & benefits Competitive compensation with performance-based bonus potential Up to $50,000 long-term retention incentive Paid Time Off 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance (eligible physicians) Employer-paid life insurance; short- and long-term disability (eligible physicians) CME allowance and licensure reimbursement Company-provided iPad with LTE and professional lab coat
