Job Description & Requirements Hospitalist Physician StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular 12 Pay Rate: $179.45 - $194.25 This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity Schedule: 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am (12-hour shifts) Total census per provider per shift: 10-15 Procedures required: Abscess incision and drainage, thoracentesis, nasogastric tube insertion, reinsertion of gastric tube, fecal occult blood testing, paracentesis, placement of transurethral catheter, aspiration and injection of joints except ankle and hip, injection of lateral epicondyle (tennis elbow), all Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) procedures, removal of lines and tubes, and lumbar puncture Electronic Medical Record (EMR): CPAR Support: Two physicians per shift Certifications and license required: Board Certified or Board Eligible, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification, and an unrestricted state license Credentialing timeframe: 60 days Facility Location North Dakota's largest city, Fargo is best known to many as the namesake of the 1996 Cohen Brothers film.
