Location: Henderson, North Carolina Summary Provide part-time clinical leadership and attending physician services across local skilled nursing facilities. Partner with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care and oversee clinical operations within assigned facilities. Key responsibilities Admit, evaluate, and manage post-acute and long-term care patients in skilled nursing facilities Provide clinical oversight and guidance to NPs and PAs Coordinate with facility staff and families regarding care plans and transitions Complete documentation and required regulatory/charting tasks Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities as needed Schedule and workload Part-time; physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week No fixed start/end times; schedule flexibility No call responsibilities and no overnight shifts Typical patient volume: 18-25 visits per day New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply Qualifications MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or Emergency Medicine Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care Compensation & benefits Competitive compensation (above industry benchmarks) with performance-based bonus program Up to $50,000 long-term retention incentive Paid Time Off 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible physicians Employer-paid life insurance Short- and long-term disability insurance for eligible physicians CME allowance and licensure reimbursement Company-provided iPad with LTE and professional lab coat
