Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized adult patients
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform admissions, daily rounding, discharges, and care coordination
Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic imaging, and other tests
Document patient encounters accurately using Epic and Dragon
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care while maintaining efficient patient flow
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
Active Michigan medical license required
Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
All required certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association
