Quick Facts Location: Meridian, MS Start Date: 09/19/2026 End Date/Duration: TBD Shift: 24-hour shifts Hours/week: Variable (based on shifts) Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: MS State Medical License (or willing to obtain), Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB experience, ACLS, PALS, NRP Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide inpatient OB/GYN coverage at a Level 1 Birthing Center Manage obstetric patient encounters and deliveries (average of 15/month) Collaborate with hospital staff and backup teams for seamless care Support patient care during in-house anesthesia coverage 24/7 Cover gynecological emergencies as needed Document patient encounters using Epic EMR system Participate in resident or family medicine shifts if applicable What You Need Valid Mississippi medical license or willingness to obtain Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB training Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP (or willing to obtain) Prior experience in hospital obstetrics preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a trusted hospital in Meridian, MS, providing essential OB coverage with a dedicated team committed to quality patient care.
