A facility in southeast Ohio, less than 2 hours from Columbus and approximately 20 minutes from Parkersburg, West Virginia, is seeking a Hospitalist. In this position you will be doing admissions, no rounding, and can expect an average of 11 admissions per shift. At 7pm, all calls will come to you. This is single coverage so you will not be working alongside another Hospitalist. When the day shift rounders leave, you may be the only Hospitalist until 9pm when the night Physician comes in. Procedures are a requirement (no exceptions) and include lumbar punctures, thorocentesis, central venous lines, and endotracheal intubations.MD Lifeline is current EMR system. You will be required to have completed 8 hours of stroke CEU prior to privileges being granted. The client is offering great starting salary, full benefits, paid medical malpractice, etc.
