PositionHighlights Hospital-based practice 300+ beds Daily hospital census: approximately 140-160 Approximately 25-30 admissions per 24 hours Diverse adult patient population Open ICU Average physician workload: 18-22 patients per day No procedures required No ventilator management required No call responsibilities ShiftOptions Day Hospitalist: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Swing Shift: 5:00 PM-1:00 AM, with potential extension to 5:00 AM as volume increases Nocturnist: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Weekend coverage may be included based on scheduling needs . Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient hospital medicine care. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients. Perform daily rounds and develop treatment plans. Manage admissions and coordinate patient care throughout hospitalization. Round in the open ICU as needed. Collaborate with consulting specialists and the multidisciplinary care team. Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active New Hampshire medical license DEA registration BLS certification
