Hospitalist Medical Director opening in AR - Located in Little Rock, AR- Full-time; Permanent position- BE/BC- 5-10 years as a practicing hospitalist in a large tertiary hospital or system- Hospitalist leadership experience is preferred Overview - Provide leadership for the hospitalist teams while balancing administrative leadership with clinical care to achieve operational efficiency- 40-50% protected administrative time- Work as a practicing hospitalist 50-60% of the time- Develop and implement the strategic vision for the System hospitalist program and at each hospital that aligns with the System and Hospital Strategy for hospitalist care- Clinical time at each of our largest hospitals (Little Rock, North Little Rock and Conway) to gain insight regarding each setting and team- Work with team leaders at each hospital to oversee daily operations and staffing to ensure high quality of care and efficient patient throughput- Serve as first line interaction for corrective communication and counseling with team members- Work with Hospital CMOs, CNOs, Quality and Safety teams and Administration to promote multidisciplinary, team focused patient care- Make recommendations for team staffing as indicated.- Participate in interviews and recruitment of potential additions to the team(s) About Little Rock Little Rock is located in Central Arkansas and has much to offer in the way of outdoor activities as well as cultural experiences.
