Job Description Key Responsibilities: Overnight Admissions & Inpatient Care: Evaluate and admit patients from the ED, conduct night rounds, and manage ongoing inpatient care. Cross-Coverage Support: Provide backup to APPs and assist with ICU needs. Procedures are required for this role; the only required procedure is Dobhoff tube placement. Physicians who are not currently experienced with Dobhoff tube placement will be trained by the team. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, specialists, social work) to ensure comprehensive transitions at shift change. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely charting of histories, physicals, daily notes, and care plans while ensuring compliance and proper coding.
