Facility in Ketchikan, AK seeking Hospitalist locums coverageRates: $190-$200/hrOpportunity HighlightsStart Date: Expected May 21, 2026.Duration: 6 months (Intermittent coverage for approximately 1 week per month).Schedule: 12-hour variable shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM).Shift Details: Day and Night shifts available; no formal call required.Gaps to Fill: Current specific needs for May, June, and July.Clinical Scope & ResponsibilitiesThe Hospitalist will function as a solo provider, managing both Med/Surg and ICU patients within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.Daily Census: Average of 10 cases per day.Patient Demographic: Adults (18+). While Pediatricians admit and follow their own patients, the Hospitalist may occasionally be consulted.ICU Management: Responsible for rounding and admissions in the ICU.Required Procedures: Ventilation Management: Required.Intubation & Central Lines: Highly preferred.EMR: EPIC (Experience preferred).Working Solo: Yes.Provider RequirementsBoard Status: Board Certified (BC) in Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required.Licensure: Active Alaska (AK) State License and AK DEA in hand (Required).
