Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour out-of-house call in range from a hotel Be prepared to respond to call backs quickly for patient consults Conduct rounding and patient follow-ups Manage diabetes patients Perform stress tests and EKG interpretations Provide pediatric care and consults occasionally Handle discharging and transfers, post-operative monitoring Provide occasional other specialty consults in the ICU Be comfortable using ventilators as the client does not have intensivists
