Job Requirements

• Active physician license required
• DEA certification required
• Board certified or truly board eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant physician experience preferred/required
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, and ATLS required
• Current CV required for submission
• Ability to begin privileging promptly and complete application turnaround within one week of receipt
• Strong pediatric inpatient medicine and procedural skill set

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage with call-only support
• Evaluate, manage, and follow pediatric patients during daily inpatient care
• Respond to 24-hour beeper call coverage as scheduled
• Perform and support essential pediatric procedures as needed, including intubation, central line placement, and lumbar puncture
• Manage pediatric ventilation support and non-invasive ventilation as required
• Interpret EKGs and support x-ray review when clinically indicated
• Complete circumcision procedures when appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to deliver efficient, high-quality patient-centered care
