full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join our
Adult Primary Care Clinic as an
Attending Faculty Physician with leadership responsibilities.
This is a unique opportunity to combine
academic medicine, resident teaching, and primary care within a thriving, multi-provider clinic located adjacent to
Hartford Hospital, one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the Northeast.
Position Overview - Outpatient Internal Medicine - Primary Care
- Active Resident Teaching within the University of Connecticut residency program
- Full-time schedule typically includes:
- 8 half-day clinic sessions per week
- Dedicated academic time
- Patient follow-ups and care coordination
- Approximately 5 weekends per year of inpatient coverage
- Opportunity for a formal leadership role within the residency program
