Position details ** This position is not considering 2027 at this time Two dedicated swing shift physician each day, working 7 am – 5 pm or 11 am – 9 pm, 7 on 7 off, averaging 9 admissions per day Oversight of Internal Medicine Residents on the admitter service Day rounder assistance with admissions if needed Designated private office space in the clinical decision unit area attached directly to the emergency department Additional after-hours resources for support and collaboration include 2 dedicated nocturnists on shift from 7p-7a, at least 2 board certified emergency medicine physicians on shift, and 24/7 in house intensivist coverage Cover only 1 hospital with 349 acute care beds, admitting/consulting on medical, surgical, and obstetric patients 18 years of age and older Great access to specialists with over 400 providers on our medical staff representing 40 specialties, including: Neurosurgery, CVT Surgery, Interventional and General Cardiology, General Surgery, Urology, Neurology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Inpatient Gastroenterology, Psychiatry, and more!
