The practice is building a collaborative team of physicians and nurse practitioners within a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility featuring 24 exam rooms, and works in close partnership with a nearby Critical Access Hospital equipped with 24/7 emergency physician coverage and nurse triage. Opportunity Physician - Family Medicine & Hospitalist Job Details Function as a leader within a collaborative Care Team, working alongside other healthcare professionals to achieve patient care objectives and ensure continuity of care Join a team of 4 MDs and 4 Nurse Practitioners in a new, 24 exam room, state-of-the-art clinic facility Clinic work performed in Grand Rapids with hospitalist work completed at a modern, 20-bed Critical Access Hospital located approximately 20 minutes away in Deer River Hospitalist call schedule: approximately 1 week every 6 weeks, serving as backup after ER physicians Hospitalist coverage consists of a 3-4 day stretch every 6 weeks Additional procedural opportunities available including colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests, and EGDs Utilizes EPIC electronic medical record system Flexible FTE options ranging from 0.6 to 1.0 FTE No OB required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine required Compensation Employed salary with benefits.
