Locums - Gainesville, Florida Nocturnist Opportunity Clinical Role Seeking a Nocturnist for an ongoing locums opportunity in Gainesville, Florida. Hospitalist experience is required. Providers will work in a highly specialized hospital setting with comprehensive subspecialty and intensivist support. This is Nocturnist Position. Assignment Details Start Date: December 8, 2026 Contract Length: Approximately 1 year Schedule: 7-on/7-off rotation Shift: 7:00 pm-7:00 am Patient Volume: Approximately 20-22 patients per provider per shift Hospitalist Census: Approximately 370 patients; hospitalists manage approximately 75% of the overall census ICU: Providers will round in the ICU Procedures/Vent Management: Not required; intensivist coverage is available Specialized Services: ICU, stroke, STEMI, transplant/cellular therapy, and complex cardiac services; no trauma Teaching: GME teaching program; teaching teams participate in grand rounds Additional Coverage: APP opening also available Orientation: Standard protocol Requirements: Hospitalist experience, active Florida license, Florida DEA, and clean file Credentialing: Emergency privileges may be available What's great about Gainesville, Florida?
