What You ll Do
Provide inpatient obstetrics care in a busy hospital setting with a Level 2 NICU
Manage approximately 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour shift; majority vaginal, 25% C-sections
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality obstetrical services
Attend to prenatal, delivery, and postpartum patients
Document patient care using EPIC EMR system
Participate in weekend shifts and holiday coverage with premium pay options
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
Maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements
What You Need Required:
California medical license (or active application in progress)
Board Certified in OB/GYN
Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA licenses
Delivery experience for obstetrics care
COVID-19 vaccination compliance
Preferred:
1-5 years of OB hospitalist experience
Fellowship not required but welcome
